I wanted to say hey and check-in with you. :) I am sure like so many you've been experiencing some ups and downs in your business over the past few months. At first, I was feeling uncertain about how this would impact my business. Then I refocused and took a step back because I knew fear and panic were not going to help me, not one little bit. I buckled down and worked very hard on keeping focused on specific goals. Now that businesses have started back up and opened their doors, it's vital for you as a business owner to step into the shoes as a community leader to support your local businesses. Think "outside" the box and reach out to cross-brand yourself with others in your community and pivot your ideas to strengthen local relationships. Combining your efforts with other business owners helps builds strategies and maybe create newer marketing ideas that you never considered. As Esther Hicks says, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” You want to nurture those relationships so that everyone can benefit. As I celebrate 18 years in the "business world" as an entrepreneur, I have genuinely experienced the ups and downs of the economy. Back when I started, I remember just trying to feed my twin babies and a six-year-old. Crazy huh? Now, she is in college, and my twins are going to be Seniors this coming year. You need to get your entrepreneurial minds working and solve problems to tap into the ideas to create the solutions that help your business. I'm here to remind you that you're in control of your destiny. Trust me, if you don't do it, then your competitors will.
