Did you know that, on a daily average, you spend 2 hours and 24 minutes on social media? (Source: We Are Social)

Social media consumption has risen drastically over the years, and when everyone is too busy to do something other than waste valuable time, we never get our daily tasks completed. We stack endless lists on the list and do not prioritize our focus on what we are to accomplish daily. Time spent on marketing your business gets pushed to the side, and strategies for building those online goals get left behind. Below are some simple tasks to maximize your daily effort to get more accomplished in your business.

  1. Set A Goal – Every day, we need to have an end goal with three tasks that we want to accomplish. Don't overburden yourself with various purposes; set one new plan every week until you can manage and achieve them without effort.

  2. Plan Ahead – We tend to stray off the path laid out before us, but if our goal has barriers to protect us from straying, we won't run off course. The plan doesn't have to be complicated but just very simple, and you can keep a notebook next to you as you work.

  3. Limit Yourself – Set limits on your social media apps. Set a timer on your phone when your scrolling through your apps. Now, this will be hard but, limit social media trolling to 15 minutes a day per app so you can focus on the tasks at hand without distraction.

  4. Prioritize – Put your list for the day; make it a priority! Here is a crucial marketing ingredient to success. Distractions are the key to failure. We must set a goal, make a plan, and prioritize while we are limiting ourselves.

  5. Create A Routine – This task is challenging on the list, but you can do it! Practice your habit every day for the next 30 days because we are creatures of habit and tend to run off path. Turning a task into a pattern is the issue and creating a marketing plan of action routine is your goal to success. So practice and more practice until it becomes natural.

  6. Organize – The best practices come with an organization; we don't always share the same organization as everyone else. It's time to declutter your office strategies, and you have to do this one step at a time. Spend time once a week to work on organizing your internal and external office practices. That means your admin to your online business strategies.

  7. Don't Wait – We hate waiting, yet that's all we do and complain that we can't get things done. Yet, we don't manage our time either, but this is another crucial ingredient. Spend one day, write down your weekly schedule, and visually see how you work your daily marketing business goals. You may find that you have a few hours of the day to accomplish your task.

We talk about goals because we want to feel accomplished, but we don't want to change our habits. Start today, stop wasting time online strolling through your competitors' success because they are doing something that you are not. Be the best you can be and manage your time for the success that you want. Designedbycarla
